The Monash Aged Care Village is one of the projects in which both Aaron Still’s and Aaron Still Consulting have had the pleasure to be involved with.
Simplistically, the project comprises:
- Early works civil infrastructure
- 150 independent living units
- 1200 m2 Clubhouse and associated 3 hole golf course
- 91 room Residential Aged Care Facility (RACF) including associated facilities and office space
From ASC’s perspective, Goodwin Aged Care Services utilise the full capabilities of ASC expertise and experience and, accordingly, achieve the maximum benefits that ASC can provide. ASC has developed an strong professional relationship and Aaron Still has worked closely with GACS for close to 8 years.
In fact, it could be said that the advice that Aaron Still has provided to GACS over the years was the reason for the nomination of Aaron as the MBA Professional of the Year in 2011.
ASC has been involved in the project from its inception and has provided the following services:
- Early feasibility advice, including building economics and conceptual studies
- Early and detailed cost planning
- General construction and buildability advice
- Value management studies and associated advice
- Life cycle costing and whole of life cost advice
- Advice during the detailed documentation phase
- Tender preparation, analysis, negotiation and associated reporting
- Review of progress claims, contract variations and general administration of contracts
- Cost management, cost auditing, cost control and monthly financial reporting
- Bank funding requirements including cash flow forecasting
